The Brandon Brothers trilogy is now complete.

Leo’s story, The Montesoro Legacy, will be released very soon – so pre-order now from Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble and Apple.

A dangerous step-brother … a letter from a Venice …  a secret key … and London’s most fashionable portraitist.  Dark doings and deceptions surround an unexpected legacy … and an equally unexpected love story.

  1. Very happy to hear a Toby Maxwell book is being considered. I love the Civil War books – as a lecturer in 17th C history, they are light relief from the heavy political and religious goings on in my day to day life! Have just bought the Montesoro legacy and am looking forward to taking it on holiday.
    Enjoy your much deserved rest!

    1. Thanks, Catriona. I’d be very interested to hear about your work. Where do you lecture? And do you have any particular specialism in the period?

  2. I am here to petition for a M-Section story! I MUST know how Earls (Ones that remind me of a one Admiral ‘Blinker’ Hall in the first World War), end up in charge of M16- I mean, -Miscellaneous Section…

Also, if one has fanart, where does one submit it? 🙂

    1. Definitely an idea I’m currently toying with, Olivia, though it hasn’t taken shape yet. Thanks for giving me a smile this morning. As for the fanart … not sure what you mean by that but there’s always email.

  3. So, what next?
I am greatly enjoying the audio of the King’s Falcon and look forward to the Montesoro Legacy.
Rockliffe is complete. The Brandon Brothers Trilogy is complete. So, where now? (A short rest is permissible!)

    1. So glad you’re enjoying Falcon, Amanda. As for what next … no firm decision as yet but I’m toying with the idea of finally writing Toby Maxwell’s story. However, I’ve mulled that one over before and turned away from it for various reasons – one being that, aside from the Restoration, much of the history between 1657 and 1660 is political. Lots of talking and little doing, if you know what I mean. But I’m taking a break at present and giving myself time.

    2. Thank you for the Montesoro Legacy, Stella. I had been so looking forward to it and wasn’t disappointed! Fascinating storyline and lovely new characters as well as the chance to meet old favourites again. You definitely deserve a break but please don’t leave it too long or I’ll get withdrawal symptoms! I love the idea of reading Toby’s story and hope you might incorporate the Restoration – particularly if Ashley, Athenais, Francis and Pauline could return to enliven English theatre (and recover their inheritances?)

      1. So pleased you enjoyed Legacy, Helen. As for the next book, the jury is still out on that one. It may be Toby … or it may be an M Section story. Still mulling it over.
